Almost exactly 4 years ago, I posted my first rendition of Captain Tsubasa characters under the shirt of various football clubs. The first one was Matsuyama with ManUtd.
After the summer or 2009, I was waiting and waiting for the perfect moment on which something get me in the mood and would inspire me to draw something related to Captain Tsubasa. Nothing was better than League title number 19 in May, putting the Red Devils on top of English football history. At the same time, I kept on searching a way to put Yoshiko in this pic... which wasn't easy as I had to dig deep to find a picture of her as a young adult.
Someone asked me before if I could get something with both Yoshiko and Matsuyama, I hope she'd happy seeing this.
I hope we'll see more of the women in further CT stories (c'mon Taka!). Enjoy!
